DOHA: Finally, rains can be expected in the country on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Met department, the weather will be unstable from tomorrow evening, with chances of scattered showers at several places on Monday and Tuesday. Day and night temperatures may also take a slight dip adding some chill to the air.
The mercury levels may vary from 27 degrees Celsius during daytime to 21 degrees C at night.
The Met department said in a special bulletin yesterday that the unstable weather may likely continue until the end of the week.
Cold air mass present in the upper layers of the atmosphere in the North of the Arabian peninsula coinciding with low pressure would cause scattered rains, said the bulletin.
The wind will mostly be northeasterly, and light to moderate in speed. The sea could be tumultuous due to strong wind, particularly on Monday. Dense clouds would reduce the difference between maximum and minimum temperatures in the week.
Day temperatures may vary from 27 degrees C to 25, while the mercury level could dip to between 21 and 23 degrees C at night particularly on Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, in its routine forecast for today, the Met department said the weather will be partly cloudy and hazy with moderate temperature during the day.

The maximum temperature has been forecast at between 26 degrees C in Al Ruwais and 31 degrees C in Abu Samra.  The night could be cooler in Doha, Al Wakra and Messaieed as the minimum temperature forecast for these places and Abu Samra is 20 degrees C.
The day temperature is expected to be 29 degrees at these places, 28 in Al Khor, 26 in Ruwais, 30 in Dukhan and 31 in Abu Samra.
The minimum temperature expected in Dukhan today is 21 degrees C.THE PENINSULA
