QSL side Umm Salal has confirmed that young defender Omar Yahya will undergo crucial knee surgery on November 30 at ASPETAR hospital. Yahya picked up the injury whilst training with the club several weeks ago.
In other team news, Umm Salal has begun preparations for their round eight game against Lekhwiya. Umm Salal are sweating on the fitness of Brazilian defender Anderson Martins. Whilst other long term absentee Mohammed Jeddo continued his rehabilitation with individual work during Monday night’s training session.
Umm Salal are currently in sixth place in the QSL standings and have picked up ten points from seven QSL games.
