Officials of QU and Aryan Properties pose after signing the MoU.
Doha: Qatar University’s College of Engineering (QU-CENG) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aryan Properties to establish collaboration in research, consultancy, and knowledge transfer.
The MoU was signed by CENG Dean Dr. Khalid Kamal Naji and Aryan Properties CEO Mohammed Hussein Al Ali.
It aims to establish collaboration between QU and Aryan in academic, research, and student training and support field and the exchange of information and consultancy.
In terms of the MoU, CENG will provide Aryan with consultancy and workshops covering different areas. CENG faculty will also support Aryan’s projects by ensuring knowledge transfer and progressive development of existing projects.
Commenting on the MoU, CENG Dean Dr. Khalid Kamal Naji said, “The MoU highlights QU-CENG’s continuous efforts to provide solutions to local challenges, in line with national priorities towards a knowledge-based economy. It will also serve to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer and provide consultancy and research services, which will contribute to driving socio-economic development and sustainability in the State of Qatar.”
Aryan Properties CEO Mohammed Hussein Al Ali commented, “We are proud to sign a memorandum of understanding with the College of Engineering at Qatar University to complement the efforts made by the education and industry sectors to support Qatar National Vision 2030, and prepare future engineers, which comes as a part of the integration between the academic and industrial sectors.”
