DOHA: Doha Festival City has welcomed Trevor Hill as its mall’s General Manager. Hill brings with him over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, managing some of the leading shopping centres and retail chains in Australia.
“Trevor has a solid retail management background and extensive knowledge of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, both of which make him a tremendous asset for our mall”, said Kareem Shamma, the CEO of Doha Festival City. “Together, we are determined to set higher standards of commercial performance, redefining Qatar’s retail landscape.”
Commenting on his appointment, Hill said: “I am very delighted to have been given the opportunity to run and operate such a huge retail mall. The management team and I will focus our efforts on turning Doha Festival City Mall into the destination of choice for residents and tourists, offering them a one of-a-kind experience. I look forward to interacting with our valued retail partners and the Qatari community.”
A graduate from Sydney Graduate School of Management in Australia, Hill holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
He has obtained a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship & Innovation) from QUT - Brisbane Graduate School of Business and has attended Boston’s Harvard Business School where he studied Real Estate Management Program- Finance, Design, and Leadership.
