DOHA: The Doha International Institute for Family Studies and Development (DIIFSD) will host on January 27, lecture entitled 'The flight from marriage: has it come to the Arab World.'
Political economist and demographer Dr. Nicholas Eberstadt will deliver the lecture from 12 to 1:30pm at George Town University, Qatar Foundation, organisers said Wednesday.
Eberstadt, who is an advisor at the American Enterprise Institute and National Bureau of Asian Research, will address important issues such as the rise in the singulate female age at marriage and rise in total divorce rates in Arab societies today. (QNA)
