Toxicology forum begins today
Doha: The Supreme Council of Health is hosting today a three-day Fourth Middle East And North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association Conference of experts from the Gulf, the Middle East, Asia, the US and Europe.
The forum, which will be officially opened tomorrow, is a platform for exchanging latest scientific and research and discoveries in clinical toxicology and presenting the basics of this science for newcomers.
The forum, organised in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation and Association of the Middle East and North Africa of Clinical Toxicology, will also focus on building regional and global partnerships with local institutions to raise efficiency in the field, assess clinical toxicology and supporting services and work on standardisation of integrated clinical, laboratory and environmental toxicology services. Three workshops will be held today to discuss the basics of clinical toxicology. QNA
