Gaza: Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee has announced that, in cooperation with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), it will begin to disburse the January batch of cash assistance to needy families in Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
The Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee H E Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi stated that cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 poor and needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of $100 per family.
Ambassador Al Emadi pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations and the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, amounting to more than 300 centers and shops.
Qatar disburses a monthly humanitarian grant in support of the sisterly Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, who suffer from difficult economic and living conditions caused by the Israeli blockade.
