The Director of Al Wakra football team Ahmed Khamis was found dead yesterday in Al Udayd where he was on a hunting trip. Inspectors at the Natural Protectorate of Al Udayd informed the South Police of the death, who immediately began an investigation. The cause of the Qatari national’s death was said to be ill health. Due to his demise, the match of Al Wakra vs Al Sadd scheduled for today has been postponed to tomorrow at 6.30pm.
