Doha: Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre hosted a United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) delegation that visited Qatar to learn about the country’s experience in combating corruption and economic crimes.
The team listened to a detailed explanation about QFC Regulatory Tribunal and QFC Civil and Commercial Court, which are part of Qatar International Court, as well as procedures followed in the areas of corruption and economic crime.
The delegation toured the centre’s courtroom facilities where they were briefed on advanced electronic services the centre provides to guarantee quick and effective decisions on conflicts and issues it hears, followed by a discussion on registration of cases and courtroom proceedings.
The delegation was accompanied by representatives from Public Prosecutor’s Office.
