Islamic Cultural Center organises ‘Welcome Ramadan’ programme for expatriate communities

Doha, Qatar:  As part of its preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a series of lectures for various expatriate communities under the “Welcoming Ramadan” programme. 

The lectures targeted the Malabari, Tamil, and Nigerian communities and were attended by hundreds of participants.

Preachers Abdul Shakoor Al-Salahi and Shahid Muslim Al-Farooqi spoke about the importance of making the most of the blessed month through righteous deeds and self-reform, in a gathering attended by 480 people.  At the Industrial Area branch of the center, preacher Mubarak Kureitat addressed key topics that help Muslims prepare for Ramadan, with the attendance of 200 Malabari-speaking participants.

Meanwhile, preacher Sulaiman Liby delivered a lecture to the Tamil community at the Ismail Al-Emadi Mosque in the Bin Mahmoud area, focusing on welcoming the holy month through repentance and diligence in good deeds. Preacher Musa Adini also addressed the Nigerian community on how to prepare for Ramadan, in a lecture attended by 85 people.
