Doha: Katara has renewed its agreement with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco). This took place during a meeting between Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager, Katara, and Dr Anna Paolini, Director of Unesco Office for Arab countries in Gulf and Yemen. They also discussed means of developing cooperation.
Dr Al Sulaiti said development of cultural programs and promotion of dialogue between cultures were discussed during the meeting at Katara headquarters.
Dr Paolini praised Katara for creating a suitable environment for cultural diversity and hosting events and activities to enhance the links, bring together different cultures and promote communication between peoples.
