Al Mana Restaurants & Food Co, the owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Qatar, recently hosted two staff events at Hilton Hotel in Doha. The celebrations are held annually in appreciation of the hard work of the McDonald’s Qatar team. More than 700 employees, both crew and management, came together this year for the event.
The events were themed “Crewsome (Awesome Crew) Rewind”, and the attendees came dressed in the cool style of the 60’s, 70’s and the 90’s. As part of the “Crewsome Rewind” events’ concept, McDonald’s Qatar managers took on the role of hosts and “chaperones” for the evening.

The events were an opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding performance of teams and individuals, and their contribution to the success of McDonald’s Qatar in the past year. Categories included the Best Restaurant Manager of the Year, Outstanding Consumer Award and the winner of the McDonald’s Super Crew Competition.
Arnold, voted Best Restaurant Manager of the Year, said: “Being awarded Best Restaurant Manager for 2013 was a remarkable and memorable experience. Jhoana, Super Crew winner said: ”McDonald’s Qatar gives a chance to all staff to showcase their ability through activities such as the Super Crew Competition and I’m very proud to be part of it.”
