Doha: Hyatt Plaza shopping mall commemorated Mother’s Day to celebrate all mothers in Qatar and give the chance to all kids and other family members to express their love in the sweetest way possible.
The fashion avenue was decked up with a garden inspired set-up for the occasion — a gesture the mall wanted to delight mothers and families.
Feroz Moideen, General Manager, Hyatt Plaza said: As a family shopping destination, we wanted to pay tribute to all mothers in Qatar and provide a platform for them and their loved ones to symbolise the glowing expression of love and bond in their own way.
“Through activities we organised we wanted to create happiness and fun, a feeling we noticed in all visitors’ smile.”
Kids and adults wrote messages to their mothers, expressing gratitude and recognition for all sacrifices their mothers have done and keep doing to bring the best out of them.
Pictures of participants holding symbolic messages for mothers were taken and the activity grabbed youngsters’ attention.
Maha B, a participant, said: “I’m what I’m today because of you mom, your generosity and love beyond everything in this world.”
Imad S addressed his mother by saying: “The power of your love kept me strong and willing to prove myself, you never doubt or blame, you only support and advise me. I love you from the bottom of my heart.”
On popular demand, the mall decided to extend the event to one more day, giving a chance to more family members to write words of kindness and appreciation to their most beloved one — the mother.The Peninsula
