Doha: The Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary-General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) H E Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud will inaugurate the “Education for All” exhibition tomorrow.

The exhibition will take place at Qatar National Convention Center, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported yesterday.

The Ministry of Interior, Kahramaa and a host of independent and private schools in Qatar will take part in the exhibition. A number of officials in the Ministry of Education in addition to experts and professionals in the education field will attend the conference.

Director of the Communication and Media Office at SEC Aisha Jassim Al Kuwari called on students to attend the exhibition as it provides them with an opportunity to find out about the conditions they need to meet to join a particular school or university.

It will also help the student make a decision on their educational preferences, the Director of Communication said.

The exhibition will also allow teachers to communicate with the Supreme Education Council and the public to discuss educational services and how they can be improved.

The exhibition will kick off with each school providing a brief introduction on its history, educational programme and its admission process.

There will be a number of seminars held during the exhibition to discuss the process of sending students to study abroad in countries such as the UK, France or US.

Parents will get an overview of how they can admit their students to schools online, a new feature that can help save time and effort for families. Schools will get an opportunity to promote their services to the parents who attend the exhibition.

‘Education for All’ will take place tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm. SEC invites all families and students to visit the exhibition to get a closer look at the educational services provided in Qatar.
