Ideal Indian School (IIS) felicitated meritorious students who made it to the Principal’s honours list securing higher grades in the school final examinations during the academic year 2013-14. A special assembly was organised in the school to honour more than 600 meritorious students from Junior, Boys’ and Girls’ Sections.
Principal Syed Shoukath Ali gave away gold medals and Certificate to the students. Speaking on the occasion Ali congratulated the students on winning meritorious awards, and wished them success in their future.
Trophies were also awarded to various houses, who excelled in the curricular and co-curricular activities, In the Junior Section, the Champion House of the year award went to Green House headed by Jaseena Abdulla, In Boys’ Section Red House headed by Sajid Shamim won the overall championship while in the Girls’ Section the Green House lead by Dr Zohra Parveen was declared the Champion House. These Houses received championship trophies from the Principal.
Padma Ramaswamy, Vice Principal, Girls’ Section, S Vidyashanker, Vice Principal, Boys’ Section, Shobhana Menon, Headmistress Junior Section, Nazima Bi, Asst Headmistress, Girls’ Section, Aszam Khan, Asst Headmaster, Boys Section and Parveen Taj, Asst Headmistress, Junior Section were also present on the occasion.
