Kuala Lumpur: Qatar Police College (QPC) has joined the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA). The protocol of accession of QPC to INTERPA was signed in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The document was signed by the Director General of Police College, Brigadier Dr Muhammad Abdullah Al Mohanna Al Merri and the head of INTERPA. The signing was attended by Badr Ibrahim Al Ghanim, director of the Technical Office of the Ministry of Interior and rapporteur of the Supreme Committee of Police College, and Captain Fahad Said Al Sobaiei, director of Police College Training Department.
The Interior Ministry said the move will enable the police college to exchange experiences with other police colleges.
The International Association of Police Academies has 54 police academies and institutions as members.
