Doha: Kritsanut Lertsattayathorn of Thailand continued his impressive run at the Asian Snooker Championship to stun top seed Pankaj Advani of India and book a place in today final with Mohamed Shehab of the UAE.
Yesterday at the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) Academy, the 27-year-old won five frames to three to shatter the Indian’s hope of bagging the coveted title. In the second semi-finals, Shehab kept his cool to down Amir Sarkhosh of Iran 5-1.
The winner of the event will get $3,500 and the runner-up $1,750. The losing semi-finalists will collect $500 each.
