DOHA: MES Indian School clinched the overall title and championship in the inter school painting competition organized recently by Friends of Thrissur.
The competition which was conducted at various categories from sub junior to senior divisions saw about 5000 participants from all the Indian schools in Qatar.
Deepak Saji Kumar won the first prize, in the senior category, while Raymond Williem, secured the Second Position in the same category. Sarang Santhosh Krishna, Nazeel P Sageer bagged the First Positions in the Junior and Sub junior categories respectively.
MES also won the coveted M F Hussain Trophy and a trophy for presenting the maximum number of participants for the contest.
