Doha: Reuven John Jithu (pictured), a Class IX student at the Birla Public School Doha - Qatar, has brought laurels to the school by winning the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 boys singles titles at the YAAS Qatar Open Badminton Championship Season 2.
The tournament was held in Palestine School Doha recently. Reuven was the only player in the entire event to win the championship across three age groups.
Reuven has previously participated in other international tournaments held in Abu Dhabi, winning the title in the Under-15 category.
His victory is definitely a motivation for the young sports enthusiasts of Birla Public School.
