Doha: Qatar Malayalam Toastmaster’s club held the installation ceremony of the new Excom for the term 2022 - 2023 yesterday at Rotana restaurant, Barwa Village.
Mohammed Rafi (President), Biju Abdullah, Prasanth, Salahudheen (Vice Presidents), Jassim Muhammad (Secretary), Shamseer Hamza (Treasurer) and Jazil Mohammed (Sergeant at Arms) are the new office bearers of the club.
Executive Committee 2022-2023
The installation of the new officers was conducted by Area 21 Director Shanid Kunnummal. The outgoing Excom under the able leadership of Hafees Mohammed was applauded for the accolades they brought for the club through their hard work and dedication. A felicitation ceremony for the winners of World Malayalam Toastmasters Annual Speech contest, Aksharolsavam 2022, Shaiju Damani and Sreekala Gopinath Jinan, was also held along with the meeting.
Qatar Malayalam toastmasters club is the first Malayalam toastmasters club in Qatar, which was chartered in 2013.
The club is a bilingual club where members can develop their communication & leadership skills in either Malayalam or English. The club conducts its meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.
