3,361 beneficiaries receive services from Sheikh Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani Primary Healthcare Centre at Azraq Camp, Jordan

The Sheikh Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani Primary Healthcare Centre at Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan, established by the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, has announced its medical service statistics for May 2026, highlighting its continued efforts to provide comprehensive healthcare to camp residents through a range of clinics and specialized medical services.

According to the centre’s monthly report, a total of 3,361 patients benefited from its healthcare services during the month. Services were delivered through paediatric, general medicine, gynaecology and dental clinics, as well as emergency and ambulance services, a vaccination unit, and a pharmacy that provides medications free of charge.

The report stated that the paediatric clinic received 916 children during May, while the general medicine clinic treated 968 patients. A further 932 beneficiaries received services through the emergency and dental clinics, while 815 individuals benefited from referrals, family planning services, and the vaccination unit.

As part of its commitment to ensuring continuity of treatment and access to essential medicines, the centre’s pharmacy dispensed 2,391 prescriptions during the reporting period, helping to meet the healthcare needs of camp residents and enhance the quality of medical services provided.

The centre continues to play a vital humanitarian and healthcare role in serving refugees living in Azraq Camp by providing integrated medical services that contribute to improving healthcare standards and promoting the overall well-being of the camp community.
