Rome: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari participated Tuesday in a dialogue session in Rome titled "Qatar and Italy, a Mediterranean dialogue: building stronger channels for mediation and international cooperation."
The session was organized in cooperation between the Med-Or Foundation and the newspaper The Post Internazionale.
During the session, Dr. Al Ansari outlined the State of Qatar's role in mediation and its efforts to support dialogue processes and peaceful solutions to conflicts. He also discussed the partnership between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council and approaches to addressing international disputes and conflicts.
He emphasized the importance of collective action and coordinated efforts to confront current regional challenges, praising the European Union's role in pushing toward a halt to the Iranian-American war.
Dr. Al Ansari added that in the area of defense cooperation, there is a need for frameworks that strengthen mutual interdependence and deepen the strategic partnership between the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the European Union.
