DOHA: Commercial Bank has announced 20 winners of iPhone 5s under its ‘Win with Pin’ promotion for using debit cards, said a press statement yesterday.
In the scheme open to all debit card holders during the two-month promotion from May 1, bank customers automatically qualified to enter a prize draw by spending more than QR50 using their debit cards either in Qatar, overseas or online.
The more transactions a customer made, the more times they stood a chance to scoop a prize. The winners were awarded iPhone 5s, making shopping and paying bills using the bank’s debit cards not only secure and convenient, but rewarding too.
The debit card eliminates the need to carry cash or write cheques and can be used for transactions such as retail shopping, paying bills, withdrawing funds at international ATMs, or making payments directly to overseas merchants. It is also chip and pin-enabled, protecting customers from misuse and providing peace of mind.
