Doha: Qatar Airways Holidays, the airline’s leisure division, has begun expanding its operations across the Gulf region with the opening of six dedicated Holiday Shops.

Two of the Holiday Shops were recently opened in Dubai and Kuwait, to help customers book holidays through the airline, with a one-stop convenient, in-person service. Starting this month, additional Holiday Shops will open in Bahrain and Muscat with Dammam and Riyadh to follow.

The openings coincide with the release of the Qatar Airways Summer Brochure 2013, featuring packages to suit a range of tastes and budgets.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said that a dedicated service for the airline’s holiday makers across the GCC region will ensure they receive the best customer care as well as information and advice that will make their holidays extra special.

“Many of our customers look for expert advice and assistance when deciding how to best plan their vacation and our aim is to make their holidays memorable and enjoyable by providing support and quality customer care throughout the entire booking service,” Al Baker said.

Senior Manager Qatar Airways Holidays, Brett Barclay, said that Qatar Airways Holidays specialises in a range of holiday packages to destinations across the globe covering Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the US.

“Whether customers are looking to book beach holidays, city breaks, cruise vacations, family fun, history and culture tours, romantic getaways, spa vacations or safari tours, our team is on hand to help and guide them in making their vacation hassle- free and unforgettable.”

Qatar Airways Holidays is partnered with some of the best hotels in the world, providing exceptional customer service and a uniqueness that is signature five-star.
