An August 2011 Boeing file photo shows a KC-46A tanker refueling F15s. US aerospace giant Boeing reported lower profits yesterday and trimmed its full-year forecast. Earnings for the second quarter fell 32.8 percent to $1.1bn. Revenues rose 11.3 percent to $24.54bn. The drop in profits was expected after Boeing said that it would take a $536m charge due to higher estimated engineering and manufacturing costs on KC-46A tanker.
