Malaysian central bank’s reserves up

Malaysia’s central bank, Bank Negara, said yesterday that its international reserves amounted to $100.4bn as of August 15.
The international reserves were marginally higher when compared with $99.4bn that registered as of July 31.According to Bank Negara’s statement, the international reserves consist of $93.9bn in foreign currency reserves, $800m in International Monetary Fund Reserves Position, $1.2bn in Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), $1.5 billion in gold and $3 billion in other reserves assets.
