SEOUL: President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak met on Tuesday with HE the Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who is also head of the Qatari side of the Qatari-Korean joint higher committee in Seoul.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE al-Attiyah conveyed to the Korean President greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to him and the Korean people.
For his part, the Korean President entrusted HE the Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority with his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
The Korean President also wished success to the Climate Change Conference (COP18) to be held in Doha next November.
The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ali bin Hamad Al Marri. (QNA)
