Muslim pilgrims circle the Kaaba and pray at the Grand Mosque during the annual Haj pilgrimage in the holy city of Makkah yesterday. On Thursday, the day of Arafat, millions of pilgrims will stand in prayer on Mount Arafat near Makkah at the peak of the pilgrimage.
