An expert speaking at the workshop organised by the Medical Services Department (MSD) at the Ministry of Interior.
Doha: The Medical Services Department (MSD) at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), held a training workshop for dental doctors on dental implantation and its artificial fittings in association with Al Dana for IDI Dental Implant.
The programme was led by Dr Hussam Ashoor, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgery, Edinburgh.
Dr Saeed Rabia Mohammed, in-charge of dental clinics at MSD said that this workshop aims at introducing to the dental doctors at the Department and other clinics of the MoI on latest technologies in dental implantation and training them on it. He added that the department is trying to keep pace with development in the field.
As part of this, the department has appointed Dr Tariq Al Namr, Consultant Oral and Dental Surgeon, and many dental surgeries are done in the department itself without referring to HMC.
