Doha: With two new courses added, the Changers Organisation’s annual training programme ‘Back to the Future’ is now open for high-school students between the ages of 15 and 17 to register for its fifth edition.
The Changers Organization falls under Qatar Foundation’s Reach Out To Asia (Rota). It aims to promote the culture of work, devotion and continuous development to encourage the youth to develop their skills, abilities, and talents.
Their annual training program admits 32 students who pass a personality test and interview. These students will be divided into eight teams, each assigned a leader who supervises all activities and ensures the participation of each member and following all rules. The programme aims to shape high-school students’ personalities and construct their characteristics, and link their talents and abilities to their future paths.
At a press conference held yesterday at the Governor West Bay Suites and Residences, where the two week training programme will be held, The Changers Organisation announced the opening of ‘Back to the Future’ registration, and the addition of two courses and including the students’ parents in the training. “There were no courses to qualify the parents to be able to qualify their children before… Now we focus on a trio in the success of this programme: the students, the trainers, and the parents” explained Khader Sulyman, founder and president of the Changers Organisation. “We will use new delivery methods through different technologies to ensure the success of the programme,” he said.
