Sealine Beach Resort announced a complete transformation with a number of renovations, expansions and service enhancements across the resort’s rooms, chalets, villas, and its recreational facilities. The resort, due for completion by the end of 2016, will feature 97 rooms, suites and villas for guests to bask in redefined luxury comfort.
Owned by Katara Hospitality; Sealine Beach Resort will be re-named Sealine, a Murwab Resort, managed by Murwab Hotel Group, Katara Hospitality’s standalone operating division. The three phased renovation began in August 2015 and will consist of upgrading the existing resort rooms and developing an entirely new wing with 20 additional villas. Sealine Beach Resort will remain fully operational throughout the entire renovation.

Hamad Abdulla Al Mulla, Katara Hospitality Chief Executive Officer, added: “This was Sealine Beach Resort’s record year in the number of guests that stayed at the resort. Taking that into consideration and after studying the requirements of the local community, we decided that the resort facilities would benefit from added value services and features to create even more memorable experiences for our guests.”
“We will continue to offer family style resort accommodation, the best water sport facilities in the Mesaieed area and all of the services and amenities that one would expect from Sealine Beach Resort,” added Al Mulla.
The single largest project will see the complete refurbishment of all 77 of the resort’s existing guest units, all of which feature a private balcony or terrace, completely redecorated and furnished. Renovations will continue in the bathrooms with the installation of new marble, fixtures and vanity amenities.
This will enhance Sealine Beach Resort’s accommodation and facilities with an additional 20-villas to the 349,309sqm resort.
Sealine, a Murwab Resort will feature an additional 20 family style villas, alongside the remaining stretch of the resort’s beach, consisting of 3 and 4 bedrooms, each villa with its own private pool. There will be a complete renovation and remodeling of the main kitchen in addition to new facilities for children.
World-Class recreational and entertainment facilities for families and adults will be added to Sealine, a Murwab Resort during this refurbishment process.
