Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC) took part in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) recently to demonstrate its engineering, design, modelling, laser scanning, and as-built service capabilities and ELV portfolio.
Qatar-based CGC utilised the oil and gas sector event to highlight its expertise and international network as a global engineering services provider offering integrated solutions for diverse industry requirements.
In addition to getting exposed to the latest in oil and gas technology, CGC officials used the Adipec platform to explore business prospects and establish contacts with the stakeholders.
Anil Mahajan, Chief Operating Officer, CGC, said, “Since Adipec is an ideal platform to interact and connect to oil and gas stakeholders from across the globe, it was imperative for us to demonstrate our expertise to the Middle East (ME) industry and form business relations with stakeholders. To cater to the ME clients, we have strengthened our presence with the opening of branch offices in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, besides having operational offices in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Colombia to serve international markets. Our recent participation in industry-specific events globally — in United Arab Emirates, India, United States and Qatar — reflected the company’s aggressive overseas expansion plan and continued efforts to establish itself as a technology and engineering services provider on a global platform.”
Mahajan added, “CGC’s proactive approach has started bearing fruits with the company winning a big laser scanning-based as-built solutions contract from a Kuwaiti oil major. This project is considered one of the world’s largest of its kind. In fact, CGC is credited with implementing two of the largest modelling projects in Qatar. We are also implementing an as-built project in India for ONGC oil and gas company through our Indian subsidiary, CGC Converse. CGC has also successfully delivered some ELV solutions in these countries. More CAD, as-built and ELV projects under pipeline.”
