Ministry begins social security training

Doha: The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs’ Social Security Department has started a training programme, entitled ‘The basic skills of beneficiary from the social and legal perspective’ at the ministry headquarters.
Dr Saud Al Rashidi and Dr Malif Al Rashidi will address the programme, which lasts until December 26, to enlighten trainees about skills of dealing with beneficiaries from the social and legal aspects.
The programme will discuss social and legal issues to highlight the definitions of self-concepts and social problems, their causes, components, and how to find appropriate solutions.
On the legal aspect, the programme will deal with qualities and skills that must be found in the social researcher’s character, the researcher’s relations with legal legislations and the key elements that must be provided in the social security system, in accordance with the legal perspective, as well as the clarification of the relationship between the researcher and the beneficiary from the legal point of view.
The department is keen to organise courses and training programmes to improve the performance of its employees and enhance their skills in the mechanism of dealing with beneficiaries and to qualify them from a social and legal perspective.
