DOHA: Al Wakra Hospital has honoured the South Security Department for its role in watching over residents in the area.
Ali Al Muftah, Head of the Engineering Department at the hospital, and Charlotte Hamilton, Assistant Executive Director for Business Development at the hospital, presented an appreciation plaque to Brigadier Mohamed Jassim Al Sulaiti, Head, South Security Department, and Major Yousuf Mohamed Al Obaidly, Assistant Head of the department, during a reception hosted in their honour in the hospital.
Many doctors and other staff were present.
On behalf of Ali Al Khater, Executive Director, Corporate Communications Department, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Mohamed Al Dosari, Acting Head, Public Relations, Al Wakra Hospital, said the award was presented to the South Security Department to show gratitude for its role in safeguarding the entire Al Wakra community.
He said the award demonstrated the importance of cooperation among the community.
Brigadier Al Sulaiti thanked the administration team for the award and praised HMC for its efforts towards providing the best and most compassionate care to the people of Qatar.
