During the recently held job fair, jointly organised by the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Technology Up-gradation and Skill Development Company, 400 youth have been provided employment in different industrial and trade bodies, while 586 had been registered for employment.
This was stated by SCCI President Haji Mohammad Afzal.
He said that 136 industrialists and traders from across the country participated in that Job Fair. A MoU for the provision of on job training will be signed with 30 industrialists, he added.
Afzal said that SCCI is playing a role in the promotion of coordination among technical institutes and provision of employment to youth equipped with skills in different industries and businesses.
