Flag bearers at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Doha: The recently concluded global sporting extravaganza and a festival of cultural multiplicity, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 mesmerised the world with its incredible togetherness and sportsman spirit.
Students of MES Indian School have also been able to play their role in minute fashion by escorting the players to the centre of the field and acted as flag bearers at the historic event.
A total of 128 students and 19 staff from MES extended their incredible support by volunteering in various functional areas, and ensured the smooth conduct of the event.

The following students had the honour of escorting the players of various teams before the matches have started. Amaana Sajid of Grade IV-B; Muhammed Ismayil, Grade III-C; Fathima Zafarnishan, Grade III-G; Afafh Nasif, Grade II-A; Aysha Zaharin, Grade I-H; and Abdel Ahed, VI-A.
Fathima Zafarnishan and Aysha Zaharin escorted the players of Croatia for their match with France.
Afafh Nasif escorted the player of Morocco for the match against Croatia in the decider for the third place. Amaana Sajid escorted the player of Argentina and Muhammed Ismayil escorted a player from Croatia for the semi-final match between Argentina and Croatia.

Rayya Khadeeja of VIII-S, Aysha Nourin of X-S, Naswa Asif of XII-M, Haya Jahan of IX-P, Farhan Khan from IX-F, Mohammed Ayaz of XI-C, Hadi Muhammed, Tarun Sajkumar of X-G, Abdullah Purathayil of IX-E, Ehsan Harispalakkal of Class V-I and Mohammed Ayaan Sajid of VIII-C were the flag bearers for some of the crucial matches.
It was really a memorable experience for these young sporting talents of the school who have contributed their bit of role in the mega sporting event.
