Many Southern Al Wakra residents are demanding that the concerned authorities establish a commercial complex which includes supermarkets and other service shops where they can get their needs easily. 

Complaints about trucks parking in residential areas are continuing. People are asking authorities to take action to prevent truckers from parking in front of or along homes. 

Many people are asking Ashghal to speed up maintenance work on internal roads to eliminate traffic jams before the advent of Ramadan.

People are demanding that construction companies meet all safety and security requirements after they begin excavations.

There are discussions in the social media about the English language exam for Grade eight. It is said to contain words and expressions which are incompatible with the Qatari culture and traditions such as alcohol and girl friends.

Discussions continue on the SEC’s decision to prevent women from working in boys’ independent schools. People are asking the council to create vacancies for women in the girls’ schools before enforcing the law. 

There is discussion about the HMC’s decision to pay QR24,000 per month to each Qatari medical student at the Weill Cornell University when they get to the fourth year and QR7,000 when they join the university. 

There are talks about the partial opening of the new Hamad Airport in April 2013, with the shifting of 12 airline companies. The rest of the companies will shift during the second half of the year.

There is a suggestion to build a complex that could accommodate all courts and judiciary branches where processing could be faster for people to save their time and effort. 

Some Al Shamal residents are demanding fixed working hours for pharmacies, which continue to close from noon to 4pm.
