Lekhwiya boss Djamel Belmadi could be set for a selection dilemma for his side’s game against Al Arabi, after the club confirmed a number of key players will  miss the important game.
Lekhwiya who are leading the Qatar Stars League  confirmed that Ali Afif and Almoez Ali will be absent for the match due to suspensions.
Afif picked up a red card, and Almoez received his fourth yellow card of the season during the 3-3 draw with Al Wakrah.
The loss of the two players will be a major concern for Belmadi who has a long list of absentees for the game including; Yusef Msakni, Yusef El Arabi, Mohammed Muntari, Mohammed Muntari and Khaled Radhwan.
Meanwhile, midfielder Luis Martin is set to return to the side after serving his one match ban for the red card he received against Al Sadd in round sixteen.
The midfielder looks set to have a starting role in the game, as Lekhwiya aim  to maintain their lead.
