DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Sunday 41.35 points or 0.47 percent to 8,693.21 points from the previous closing of 8,734.56 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 6,608,301 from 7,247,734 Thursday, and the value of shares increased to QR356,478,940.19 from QR268,765,035.89 Thursday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.89 percent to QR167.50, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 1.70 percent to QR75.00, Doha Bank fell 9.10 percent to QR46.45 and The Investors down 1.54 percent to QR21.80.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector fell 0.52 points while the Insurance sector dropped 0.99 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 0.35 points and the Services sector lost 0.33 points. (QNA)
