Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, on his country’s Independence Day.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable.
Emir receives Singapore message
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a written message from the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, on relations and ways of enhancing them. The Emir met at Al Bahr Palace the Singaporean Foreign and Justice Minister, K Shanmugam, who handed over the message.
