Doha: Qatar University College of Law (QU-LAWC) recently released a print version volume of selected articles published in its journal, the International Review of Law (IRL).
The hard-copy bound volume contains peer-reviewed articles and abstracts in Arabic and English from the journal’s last two editions. They are edited by LAWC professors, Qatari graduates and distinguished international legal scholars, and printed in Qatar. Guest forewords were authored by Justice Barbra Dohmann QC of Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre and Head of McNair Chambers Qatar Prof Khawar Qureshi QC.
The volume covers articles from Qatar-based and international authors on a range of topical legal issues such as corporate law, international law, admiralty law, energy law, Islamic law, medical law, media law, Shari’ah law, ethics, telecommunications privacy issues, energy transmission, corporate law and more.
LAWC Dean Dr Mohamed Al Khulaifi said: “The high quality and diversity of legal subjects in these volumes will ensure that articles and legal issues addressed within will have considerable impact in the legal and academic community, enabling our goal of advancing vibrant dialogue across cultures and borders.”
