DOHA: Qatar University (QU) will hold 41st graduation ceremony under the patronage of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on May 20.
The ceremony for male students will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre and for female students on May 21, in the presence of H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice-President of the Supreme Education Council.
A total of 1,200 students will graduate at both ceremonies.
Dr Omar Al Ansari, Vice-President for graduate students, congratulated the graduate students and said, “I assure you what we say always, that the ceremony is not the end, but the beginning of a real shape of your future and the future of the homeland, for what you have learned and gained experiences during your university studies.
“Arrangements are made to ensure the success of the ceremony, especially under the generous grace of the Emir,” he added. The Peninsula
