DOHA: The Indian embassy will hold an Open House on Friday to address any urgent consular and labour problems of Indians.
It will be held from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Written information on issues proposed to be discussed with officials could be given from 5.30pm to 6pm.
This will be followed by meetings with officials between 6pm and 6.30pm, the embassy said in a statement. the peninsula
Doha:Qatari-Indian Economic Forum will be held in New Delhi tomorrow. The event is organised by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in collaboration with the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani will lead Qatari delegation, which includes a number of businessmen, heads of government agencies and institutions as well as the chief executives of major companies in Qatar.
DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in close cooperation with the Tayseer Motors Company (authorised importers of Suzuki cars) has ordered a recall of SX4 and hatchback models between June 2009 and November 2012 due to some defects in handle transmission.
The Ministry said the recall decision is part of its ongoing actions to make sure all the vehicles on the roads are safe and to protect rights of the consumers. The Ministry will follow up the issue and keep in touch with the customers to make sure that the defected cars are recalled and defects are repaired. QNA
