Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced that a delegation from the Ministry paid a visit to those injured in the recent building collapse in the Bin Durham area in central Doha. The victims are under medical treatment at the Hamad Medical Corporation.
“The delegation showed great concern for all the injured and wished them a speedy recovery. They emphasized that the authorities responsible are working tirelessly to provide them with all the necessary care needed to help them resume their daily lives,” MoI tweeted.
The people injured and their loved ones had reportedly expressed heartfelt gratitude to all relevant authorities in Qatar for their “unwavering support, attention, and medical care.”
On Wednesday, a four-storeyed residential building collapsed in the Bin Durham area of Central Doha. One person was announced dead, nine people were rescued, while 12 families had been evacuated from the building.
