Qatargas holds recruitment drive in Texas

DOHA: Qatargas conducted a recruitment campaign at Gas Recruitment, Education and Training’ (GREaT) Center, a specialist pavilion held on the sidelines of the LNG 17 Conference, recently in Houston, Texas.

The GREaT Center was designed to foster development of the workforce which supports the LNG industry. 

Qatargas Human Resources team, led by Human Resources Manager Abdulaziz Al Mannai, utilised this opportunity to share information regarding job vacancies, career opportunities, entry requirements and potential career pathways to interested candidates. The recruitment team highlighted Qatargas as an excellent place to work showcasing its commitment towards becoming the world’s premier LNG company, as well as defining the career opportunities and personal benefits to potential candidates.

Al Mannai, said: “The event provides a great platform to promote Qatargas as the world’s premier LNG company with a high calibre diverse workforce. It also provides an opportunity to network with talented individuals that may be able to fill roles we have.”

The presentation dealt with the future challenges the industry is going to face on the human capital front and discussed a wide range of topics including the shortage of talent, ageing workforce and gender representation in the industry.
