Jakarta: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud held meetings with heads of states and premiers on the sidelines of the Africa-Asia summit, which concluded yesterday.
Al Mahmoud met King Abdullah II of Jordan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, East Timor President Taur Matan Ruak, Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamadallah and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed.
Talks during the meetings dealt with issues of common interest.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Mohamed Khater Al Khater, attended the meetings. QNA
