Doha: To applaud the relentless and unabated dedication and perseverance of its meritorious students and unveil their journey of academic excellence, DPS Modern Indian School organised the Award Ceremony for classes VIII, IX and XI for the academic session (2022-23) on April 13.
Around 250 students were awarded with trophies, badges, merit certificates, blue blazers, blue ties, silver medals, gold medals and special awards.
The chief guest Yasir Nainar, Vice President DPS Modern Indian School commended the diligent efforts of the students and urged the parents to be their role models, encourage them to explore their talents and chase their dreams with utmost allegiance.
Principal, Asna Nafees lauded the students and the teachers for their sustained resilience in beating the pandemic blues and described how education has evolved with new introductions by CBSE focusing on ‘higher order thinking’ and steering away from a ‘textbook’ approach. She encouraged the students to adapt and be innovative and creative as they learn and lead the community into the future.
