Doha: The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a message from Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki dealing with bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern. Eritrean Ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed handed over the message to the Deputy Emir at the Emiri Diwan.
Doha: The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Maj Gen Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met yesterday with Iraq’s Defense Minister Sadun Al Dulaymi, now visiting Qatar.
The two sides discussed several issues with a special emphasis on military affairs. A number of senior army officers attended the meeting. QNA
