Qatar’s Abdulla eyes another victory in QNRRCH at Losail

DOHA: Qatari driver Abdulaziz Abdulla will be aiming to make it three wins in a row when he competes in the fifth round of the Open Class in the Qatar National Road Racing Championship (QNRRCH) at Losail International Circuit.

Porsche driver Abdulla, winner of the last two rounds has 20 points, two behind Class leader and Lotus driver Talal Wehbe of Australia (22).  Pavel Nedobity from Czech Republic also of Lotus is in third spot.

In the Production Class of the championship, Nasser Sheghail Al Abdulla leads with 10 points, while Saif Al Naimi is closely behind with eight.

Today, free practice will begin at 7.00pm while the qualifying practice starts at 8.30pm. 

There will also be the rescheduled third round car race after the original was cancelled due to heavy rain. 

The fifth round race begins at 8.15pm tomorrow.
