Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), an Al-Futtaim company and the distributor for GAC Motor in Qatar, has launched the seven-seat SUV, the GS8 and the next-generation luxury sedan, the GA8 at an event held at The St Regis Doha.
The event was attended by Li Chen, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Qatar; Wang Shunsheng, Deputy General Manager, GAC Motor; Liu Haoyuan, Director of International Business Department, GAC Motor; Faisal Sharif, Managing Director of Domasco; Mohammed Majeed, Sales & Marketing Manager, GAC Qatar; and other senior management from Domasco.
Speaking at the launch event of the two models, Faisal Sharif, Managing Director of Domasco said: “The GS8 and GA8 are a result of years of research and development from GAC Motor’s and combines state-of-the-art technology and innovation. With the launch of these two models, we are now able to offer customers an even wider choice from GAC and welcome all our customers to test drive an experience these two amazing vehicles.” The GS8 high-end SUV is powered by GAC Motor’s golden dynamic Ti POWER 320T engine and six-speed automatic gearbox.
By applying the Chinese company’s second generation i-4WD 2.0 four-wheel drive system, the GS8 offers a powerful yet smooth ride across six driving modes: sandy roads, muddy roads, snowy roads, intelligent auto, sports, and ECO. It also applies the latest Bosch electronic stability program 9.1 (ESP 9.1) that improves the car's stability by detecting and reducing the loss of traction (skidding).
The GA8 model comes with cutting-edge power and electronic systems, matching technology and world-class materials for interior decoration to provide the most convenient driving and riding experience.
